Every watch comes in with a different history and a different need. The services below are structured to reflect that — from a gentle interval service to a thorough restoration.

How we approach every piece
Regardless of the service level, the process begins the same way: a careful look at the watch as it arrives. We assess the movement on the timing machine, note the condition of the case, and form a clear picture of what the watch needs — before recommending anything.
We then discuss our findings with you in plain terms. If you're unsure which service level is right, we'll give you our honest view — and we won't recommend more than the watch actually needs.

Refresh & Polish
A light service joining gentle cosmetic care with mechanical attention. We clean accessible parts of the movement, lubricate the key points, regulate the timing gently, and carefully clean the case and bracelet where suitable. A short note follows with simple care suggestions. A pleasant interval service; usually under two weeks.

Complete Overhaul
A full service for automatic and hand-wound movements needing deeper attention. We disassemble, clean, and re-oil the entire movement, renew the mainspring where worn, and regulate across positions for dependable timekeeping. Gaskets are refreshed and the case checked. Suited to cherished daily pieces; about three to four weeks.

Process

Fine Restoration
A refined restoration uniting movement and finish. The movement is overhauled to a high standard, the case finish renewed with a goldsmith's care, and the dial and hands attended to in keeping with the original look. Each step is discussed and documented so the result honours both function and history. Five to eight weeks.

Standards & Protocols
What applies to every service
These are not tier-specific — they form the floor of every piece of work that leaves the workshop.
Moebius lubricants
The correct Moebius grade is applied to each component type. We do not use generic or substitute lubricants for cost reasons.
Timing machine check
Every movement is assessed on the Witschi timing machine before the watch is returned. Results are noted in the service record.
Individual piece security
Each watch is stored in a labelled individual tray throughout its time in the workshop. No piece is mixed with another.
Written service record
A written record of what was done, what was found, and timing results accompanies every completed service.
Scope agreed before work
Nothing beyond the agreed service scope is undertaken without a prior conversation. There are no surprise additions on the invoice.
Client data handled with care
Contact and watch details provided to us are used only for the service. They are not shared with third parties or used for other purposes.
